Quality of land
The property is a parcel once a part of a much larger farm. Much of the land had reverted back to forest. More recently, over half of the parcel was cleared and a house built. Two horses lived on and grazed the open land for a number of years before we bought it. We have created a large vegetable garden and a bee yard but otherwise the land majority of the land is unused but mowed twice a year. The land is perfect for a number of different projects run simultaneously, including small scale livestock and fowl raising, vegetable and flower/herb gardening, small scale orchard and bee keeping.

Tenure arrangement details
I am looking for a collaborator to take the lead role in running a farm enterprise(s) on this property. The land is perfect for a number of different projects that could run simultaneously, including small scale livestock and fowl raising, vegetable and flower/herb gardening, small scale orchard and bee keeping. Perennials and cut flowers can be raised in a number of places and any field offers wildflower opportunities. Berries are another possibility. These are all projects I’ve had in mind but need a partner’s help. I work on a full-scale organic farm so my time to work on my own place is limited. I am open to any ideas/suggestions so we arrive at a mutually beneficial plan.
