Tenure arrangement details

We are seeking to work with another person, couple, or family to create a diversified food system on what is currently a blank slate. With the right fit we hope to have a longstanding relationship with someone where we create connection and community. Help on the property would involve supporting day to day chores (plowing, mowing, tending gardens and animals) with support of bigger projects like planting and caring for trees and other perennials, creating long term plans for animal management, infrastructure needs, etc.

We are a young family hoping to collaborate on the land. Kathleen has a background in horticulture and nursery work and has worked on diversified veg farms. She completed the farmer training program through UVM in 2021. She is passionate about perennial plantings as well as supporting and creating habitat for native flora and fauna.
Jacob is an electrician by trade and is skilled at construction and home improvement projects. He grew up on his grandparent’s homestead caring for various livestock including cattle and rabbits and he has been an avid about learning to care for animals and plants.
