Description of farming experience

I currently own my own small horse boarding business, work on an organic grass-fed dairy and am mentoring at a goat dairy as well. I have been working with cows for just over two years and taking care of horses for over 30. I have a flock of 21 layer hens and just purchased 5 doelings from my dairy goat mentor. I love taking care of my animals, milking and grazing livestock. I am a hard worker and love being outside as much as possible. I am looking for a farm that I can lease with option to buy or purchase outright.

Tenure arrangement desired

Farm transfer

Tenure arrangement description

I would love to find someone who would be willing to share the history of their farm with me and tell me everything that they have previously done with the land. I am willing to discuss any options that will help me find my forever farm.

Planned farm enterprise: Primary

Dairy

Planned farm enterprises: Others

Forest/Foraging, Livestock

Farm enterprises description

Organic grass-fed dairy goats, a small herd of organic grass-fed cows to help keep the pastures healthy while helping to minimize the parasite life cycle in both herds. One group would be grazed at least 21 days behind the other to prevent parasite infection. The cows milk will be for family use and to feed goat kids to keep from having to use milk replacer. Cows will be bred to beef which will be raised for my family's consumption, with replacement animals bred as needed. Layer hens will follow to help with insect control and fresh eggs for consumption and sales.
