Description of farming experience
Growing up my family ran a small farm. We had many different animals over the years, but my favorite was raising goats. We worked with a dairy farm and took the bottle kids to raise for market. My ultimate farming goal is to raise bottle kids for market. Providing a buyer for dairy farms while also supplying and growing the meat market.
Over the last 5 years my homesteading/farming experience has been raising rabbits (for show and meat) and chickens. As well as ducks, geese, goats and quail at different periods.
Through trial and error I have been developing a structure that allows for free ranging birds rotational grazing livestock and stationary pens/runs as seasons and predators change.

Farm enterprises description
My primary goal is to bridge the dairy goat world with the meat goat world by raising bottle kids for market, along with raising chickens and ducks. Currently operating on a small scale, we raise dual purpose breeds and hatch eggs in the spring expanding each year as we go. Roosters are raised to processing weight.
