Description of farming experience

I grew up working and staying on an organic dairy farm, and the older I get the more I realize that farming and agriculture is in my blood. My wife and I have enjoyed building a small farm focused on pasture raised beef, turkeys, and eggs, with side crops of hay and Christmas trees. We enjoy finding the symbiotic relationships between animals, progressive pasturing, and focusing on regenerative agriculture practices. My goal is to transition back to full time farming by 2030, and we are seeking opportunities to make that goal a reality.

  • Farmhand type work my entire life/as long as I can remember.
  • Very comfortable with equipment/machinery/agricultural equipment.
  • I excel at fixing things and problem solving.
  • Good mechanical skills, welding, repair and maintenance skills. 
  • We love to work with animals, especially livestock, turkeys chickens. 
  • Any day spent mowing hay is a good day.
