Description of farming experience

We owned and operated The Taste and See Farm on the beautiful Western Slope in Colorado. 
Vegetable production was our main focus with perennial medicinal herbs and some flowers on the side.  We farmed year round with field/row crops as well as 9 hoop houses enabling us to incorporate winter production into our offerings.  Our main sales outlets consisted of farmers market, restaurants/cafes, CSA, and personal chefs and on site sales.  We grew in permanent raised beds using minimal till and we routinely tested our soil and amended with natural fertilizers never using any chemicals in our growing practices.
