Description of farming experience

We currently raise chickens for both meat and eggs in Westminster. We have previously raised Hereford cattle on the same property.

We both worked on livestock farms growing up, gaining experience primarily with cattle, pigs, and horses. At UVM, Olivia completed the dairy management program, CREAM. In addition to animals and gardening, Lachlan formerly managed a BBQ restaurant in Atlanta, GA and is interested in pursuing a farm-to-plate model.

We are flexible. We currently live in Westminster and have space here to raise young livestock in addition to our chickens. Looking towards 2026, we are keeping our eyes open for either contract grazing opportunities (0-10 ac preferred) or land for sale (5-25 ac preferred) in Windham County.
