Description of farming experience
While we are first-generation farmers, our lives have long been connected to gardens, rural living, & caring for the land. John grew up around family gardens & spent time helping at a cousin’s dairy farm, gaining early respect for the work and responsibility involved in farming. Marc recently spent significant time learning about plants, flowers, & soil while helping transform his mother’s garden spaces. We are committed to continuing our education in sustainable farming, soil stewardship, & animal care. Through Earthlings Made & our vision for Johnny’s Ark & Farm, we aim to steward land with care, humility, & love while learning from experienced farmers & contributing to land and community.

Farm transfer
Tenure arrangement description
We are open to a variety of tenure arrangements that allow a thoughtful transition of land stewardship. Ideally, we hope to purchase a property through seller financing, land contract, or lease-to-own, with flexibility on the timing of a down payment as we continue building our Earthlings Made business and the future vision of Johnny’s Ark & Farm. Our goal is long-term ownership and responsible care of the land. We are also open to gradual farm transition partnerships or caretaker arrangements that allow us to live on and steward the property while building toward full ownership. Above all, we are seeking the right relationship with the land and its current steward.

Farm enterprises description
Our vision is to create a small, diverse farm centered on stewardship, animals, and connection to the land. Through our company Earthlings Made, we hope to grow gardens, orchards, and native plant spaces while caring for animals with compassion and respect. Over time the property may also become the first home of Johnny’s Ark & Farm, a sanctuary-style space where rescued animals can live safely and people can reconnect with nature. The farm would serve as both our family home and a place to nurture the land, support wildlife, and develop thoughtful projects that align with our values of sustainability, kindness, and community.

Business planning description
Our approach is to gradually develop a small, diverse farm that supports both our family and our Earthlings Made brand. Over time we plan to grow gardens, orchards, herbs, and natural products that can be used in the products we create. The property may also become the first home of Johnny’s Ark & Farm, a sanctuary-style space focused on animal care and connection with nature. Our plan is to grow thoughtfully and sustainably, allowing the land itself to guide what develops over time while maintaining a balanced, respectful relationship with the ecosystem.

Farm infrastructure needed
Description of infrastructure needed
At minimum, we would need some form of livable housing on the property, such as an existing farmhouse, small home, apartment, or temporary living space while we improve the property over time. Basic utilities including water, electricity, and septic would be helpful. Existing farm structures such as barns, sheds, or outbuildings would be beneficial but are not required, as we are comfortable improving and building infrastructure gradually. Access to land suitable for gardens, small agriculture, and animal care would be ideal as we grow the property thoughtfully and sustainably.
Access to equipment needed

Additional information
Our family is seeking more than land—we are seeking a place to care for, protect, and grow alongside for many years to come. Through our work with Earthlings Made www.earthlingsmade.com, we believe the land, animals, wildlife, and people are all connected. We approach farming with humility, curiosity, and a deep respect for those who have stewarded the land before us. Our goal is to continue the story of the property, protecting its ecosystems while gradually building gardens, habitats, and spaces for animals and community. We are committed to caring for any land entrusted to us with responsibility, gratitude, and long-term stewardship.
