Description of farming experience
We currently live in Baltimore county, Maryland. We own Gutberlet Grove, a small vegetable and cut flower operation. We distribute via CSA, markets and events. Daniel also owns and runs a Regenerative Agriculture consulting and land management business know has Hat creek farm and garden. With over 10 years of farming from each of us we bring a wide array of knowledge and experience. Our background consists of orchard production/ berry production(current) , vegetable production, cut flower and events, earth work, grass fed/finished cattle farming, poultry ( layer and roaster), land design ( keyline and permaculture). Daniel graduated from University of Vermont with an agro ecology degree.

Tenure arrangement description
We are interested in a long term lease agreement, lease to own, or purchase under the right circumstances. We are also interested in helping current land owners transition their business to good people that will carry on their legacy and keep the land in healthy agricultural production. We are interested in person/persons to help us establish the right connections in the area. We hope to make Vermont our permanent home for years to come.

Our goal is to build upon a cut flower and vegetable business while beginning to incorporate livestock and diverse perennial crops. Also, to build community within that region, on that land. Our hope is that the majority of our product is sold via direct to consumer ( CSA, farmers markets etc) We welcome on site experiences that are well thought out and respectful to the surrounding community. We value floral events and consulting work as well. This is to be done very strategically and carefully. We have been working on a thorough business plan for several years but need the location to be able to determine specific figures and market analysis to help determine how the farm enterprises grow
