Description of farming experience

I started working on organic farms over 10 years ago. Due to lack of land access and needing a livable wage I've had to step away from my love of agriculture. I spent time in biotech thinking that could be a way to work with plants and help improve agriculture, but I quickly became disillusioned with that hyper-capitalistic world.

I now focus on small scale breeding of non-psychoactive medicinal hemp, and I'm looking to scale my operation and start growing flowers.

Looking to trial a small parcel of hemp plants in 2027 for local sales and market research. The nationwide hemp ban threatens to ban interstate sale of this product and we'll see if any protections get put into place. So I'm looking for flexible to expand into. I'm interested in ownership eventually, so if you're looking to transfer or owner finance a sale in the future I'd definitely be interested. I'm very interested in other novel crops other than cannabis but cannabis is what I'm looking to trial primarily in the 2027 season.

Trialing and growing non-psychoactive hemp strains for breeding and local flower sales. I work with rare minor cannabinoid strains beyond CBD alone including CBG and CBDV.

In 2027 I'm looking for a small field or greenhouse to expand and test my varieties outdoors in the VT climate. For any harvest I can dry and cure off-site.
