We've had a small herb garden in NYC and have cared for many houseplants and animals, but we want more in-depth hands-on learning opportunities in homesteading. We joined this site to find regenerative-minded homesteaders who are willing to share their wisdom about growing food in collaboration with the living ecosystem. Our ultimate goal is to create an off-grid permaculture homestead that fosters resilient, healthy community. We learn new skills quickly and adapt to new environments easily.

We are looking to live and work on a homestead stewarded by like-minded people. Like an apprentice role, we want to offer our time, energy, and talents to an established farm in exchange for education and guidance on our own homesteading journey. We are hoping in this arrangement, housing options will be available on the land.

We want to grow nutrient-dense food, curate vitality in our local water systems, and be in right relationship with the beings who share our ecosystem. Our vision is to embrace our roles as guardians of the land and create a space to support others in doing the same. We believe there is a bright future where all beings are interconnected and tending to the naturally abundant life force of Earth. This is our long-term vision, and we are hoping to work with people who also want to see this kind of future.

We have multiple years of experience as traveling house-sitters, caring for other people's homes, plants, and pets across the country. Through this unique life experience, we have become adept, attentive, adaptable caretakers who work very well as a team. We also have developed specific skills in social media promotion, sales, and the facilitation of community events. We recognize we are at the beginning of our journey into the world of homesteading, but we are both eager to share the skills and wisdom we have cultivated in mutually beneficial ways.
