Farm enterprises description

A diversified agricultural enterprise centered on sustainable organic vegetable production and immersive learning. Our operation would grow seasonal vegetables while serving as a living classroom for students, farmers, and community members. We want to offer agricultural education opportunities including school programs, apprenticeship programs, and agricultural camps. Hands-on learning would cover crop rotation, composting, pest management, and farm-to-market operations. Community engagement could include educational farm tours, harvest festivals and community garden plots. A repair shop maintains agricultural equipment, teaching mechanical skills while keeping local farms operational.

Written business plan

In progress

Business planning description

Our current professions would allow us to not rely on the farm land immediately for financial stability. That frees us to create a farm business that fits the land and our communities needs. Eventually we envision income coming from crop sales, repair shop and our hands on learning programs.

We are a teacher, an ER nurse, a builder/mechanic and a outdoor use planning professinal. We have a rich background of farming experience and want to root our lives and our community on land with agriculture as a way to fortify against the effects of climate change and digital detachment.
