Description of farming experience

Natasha and Aidan both have undergraduate degrees in Sustainable Agriculture. While most of their experience is related to vegetable production, they have also worked on pastured livestock, cut flower and dairy operations.
Aidan spent years managing vegetable farms, first in the Hudson Valley at Karl Family Farms where he grew on 2 acres, after which he managed Youngs Farm on Long Island, NY where he grew on 15 acres.
After Youngs Farm he started Fog Town Farm, which he runs on conservation land on Nantucket. The farm grows 4 acres of vegetables, in addition to flowers and berries and it is a profitable business.
Natasha has worked in a wide array of agriculture and is also a nursepractitioner

The land and market will dictate the farming enterprise... However, at this point we are very inclined to continue growing vegetables and cut flowers. It is our expertise. With that said, we are passionate about all types of agriculture and local food and we would be happy to incorporate livestock into our operation if feasible.

We are professional farmers and entrepreneurs ready to find the land that we will farm on for the remainder of our careers. We have spent the past 15 years studying agriculture, managing other peoples farms and running our own farm for the past seven seasons. We have had great success doing this and we are optimistic about the future!

We are in search of land to develop into a successful business that will thrive and support us and our community for many years to come.
