Additional Information

Sole operator with part time help currently boards organic dairy heifers and raises organic Angus beef. Non-organic sheep, pigs and layers are raised to a lesser extent. Markets include a well established farm store selling frozen meat and some freezer trade beef sales. We also provide retail product to other farmer's farmstores and CSA's.  Heifer boarding is provided for long standing organic dairy clients and there is capacity for an applicant to add their own beef or dairy cattle to the operation. We seek a career minded diversified farmer(s) interested in cattle production as well as conducting their own enterprise. The goal is to expand the offerings in our farm store with direct sales available to the collaborator(s). Possibilities include but are not limited to poultry, cattle, possibly some sheep as well as fruit, vegetable and maple syrup production.
