Existing barn is sadly beyond repair and is being taken down for salvage. I plan to use some of the salvaged materials to build shelters and storage sheds. There are plenty of timbers, planks and siding available at low/no cost, many beams are hand hewn from the 18th-19th century.

Additional Information

Updated 10/15/24-

Plans are in the works to gradually create market gardens, and add more fruit trees, berry bushes and livestock.

We currently are restoring/ remodeling structures, to be completed by Spring 2025. Plenty of hand hewn timbers, siding, planks and beams are available at low/no cost. Come and give a piece of history new life!!

Heart's Ease Farm is in Danville village, within walking distance of all amenities and near the Lamoille Valley Rail Trail, as well as I-91. I am looking to connect with folks who are interested in community, permaculture, small scale market gardens and livestock. I am interested in all aspects of regenerative land management. Pasture and gardens are being restored/created on 2-3 acres of level land, well suited to small scale agriculture;  flowers/herbs, market gardens and/or small livestock with potential for more. The wooded areas, year round stream, wetlands and a swimming pond are also potential sites for educational workshops in outdoor living skills and the natural sciences.

My dream is to eventually offer therapeutic/educational services of some kind to the community combined with CSA/market gardens and permaculture.
