Farmland Access Support Services

Thanks to a grant from the Beginning Farmer and Rancher Development Program of the USDA, Intervale Center staff are able to assist farm seekers directly with securing land. Services are customized to address the specific farm acquisition goals of each participating farmer and include strategic searches and evaluations of properties, business planning, financial readiness reviews, lease assessments and more. The order and depth of assistance for each farm seeker varies based on the need as assessed by the service provider during the intake process and may focus on several areas simultaneously. Grant funds are limited and services are provided on a first come, first serve basis.
