About us: • My wife Alex and I met at a regenerative farm in Costa Rica, Finca Luna Nueva and worked togeher helping to build and grow a non-profit Regeneration International ahead of the 2015 Paris climate summit. • Although we currently live in Minneapolis, we are looking to put down roots in Vermont with our 1 year old Tala, so we can be closer to family in Montreal. Griffin’s Farming Background: • I am a lifelong backyard gardener and experimenter • In 2011 I graduated from SMU with a dual degree in Advertising, Environmental Studies and Miner in Economics. My Environmental Studies theses focused on sustainable food systems and included research on Black Soldier Fly protien and composting, and Aquaponics. • After a couple of years working in advertising and digital marketing, I moved to Mexico where I worked for the Organic Consumers Association as Latin American Project Director, where I managed the Via Organica, educational farm and multiple non-profits including Granjas Regenerativas, and Regeneration International focused on promoting organic regenerative food and agriculture systems. • In 2018 I received my MBA from Texas A&M University with a focus in Marketing, and am currently working as a Senior Associate Marketing manager at Farmer owned Land O’Lakes where I’ve worked across our three primary business Winfield United Ag Retail business, Land O’Lakes Butter where I managed our Tub Butter and plant based spreads portfolio, and Purina Feed business where I manage our Wildlife Feed, and Backyard Flock businesses. Alex’s Farming Background: • My wife Alex is also passionate about Regenerative Agriculture and food. Originally from Montreal, she is an avid travel and environmentalist and graduated from McGill University also with dual degrees in Environmental Studies and Geography. Out of school she worked for 3 year organizing international events for the World Internet Governance Forum based out of Johannesburg South Africa, she then moved back to Canada to help manage sales her father’s Hydroponic Greens startup (Urban Barns), before applying to learn about Permaculture and Regenerative Agriculture at Finca Luna Nueva in Costa Rica. • She worked for Regeneration International for 3 years, before helping to run programs at Grow Ahead, Dr. Bronner supported Non-profit focused on investing in and growing Regenerative Agriculture in the developed world. • Through this work she discovered a passion for applying the principles of Regeneration to human systems, and was a founding member of nRythm, an consultancy helping business to apply living systems principles to help business and organizations thrive.
