We are a small farm in Starksboro, VT with Llamas, Alpacas, Chickens, and Guinea Fowl, looking to expand. We have plans for using our own hay fields for feeding the animals, as well as working with greenhouse crops such as Saffron. We would also like to expand our fibre production from the Llamas and Alpacas to do spinning and weaving. Looking for a place where we can keep most of the land as cropland, fields, forest, etc, but have a couple of acres where we can build a house.
We would like a minimum of 30 acres so we can put the land in current use, but no limit on the upper size of acreage.
Our primary goal is to find a place that we can lease-to-own while we sell our current place, or something that is flexible in financing.
