Please describe your past and/or present farming experience
My farming experience is mostly with small scale organic vegetables and chickens, plus some experience with sheep, goats, dairy and beef cows, and orchards.
I have also done construction, managed a green design-build company, worked in sustainability and resilience for local government, conducted research and outdoor education for a watershed nonprofit, and taught high school science for four years, with one year at a technical high school focused on preparing students for careers in farming, forestry and natural resource management.
