The owners of Trudeau Farm are looking for a highly qualified farmer to lease this active dairy farm. The owners are willing to sign a long term lease on the entire farm. The lease rate is variable depending on the number of stalls leased. The minimum lease rate is $2,500 per month.
The Trudeau Farm is a 239-acre operating dairy farm located on both sides of Bridgman Hill Road, with additional frontage on Billings Road, Hunter Lane, and Shepard Farm Lane. The farm is about 2 miles north of the village of Hardwick. The farm is located on a high ridge with very good long range views.
The herd consists of 116 milk cows, 25 bred heifers, 21 yearling heifers and 27 heifer calves.
Interested farmers are asked to submit a letter of interest addressing the following questions:
- What will success look like at the Trudeau Farm under your stewardship and how long will it take to get there?
- What qualifies you to carry out the proposed use of the farm?
- What other conditions do you have regarding the lease or use of Trudeau Farm?
