The farm is comprised of two noncontiguous parcels. The southern parcel has excellent river bottom soils; Limerick silt loam, Hadley loam, Winooski and Stetson. The farm consists of 108 acres of certifiable organic land, dwelling, greenhouses and barns located at 205 Cemetery Rd in Starksboro, Vermont. There are two separate non-contiguous parcels: a 57 acre northern parcel with house, greenhouses and barns and a 51 acre southern vacant land parcel located approximately 1/2 mile to the south. The Vermont Land Trust has a "traditional" conservation easement on the property that prohibits residential and commercial development, and the parcels cannot be sold separately. The "traditional" easement does however, have provisions allowing for the building of a farm stand on the property. The property is also enrolled in the State of Vermont Current Land Use program. The homestead area of the farm is set back off of the main road and borders town forest land. This area of the farm has expansive views of the valley to the north and of the Green and Hogback Mountains. Power is buried underground from the road to the homestead.
