Hilly south facing pasture that was used for rotational grazing for horses and brush-hogged annually. Unused since the end of 2014. Some sheep-fence still remains. Plenty of weeds. Other than spot spraying of glyphosate, the only amendments were lime and rock phosphate. Colrain very stony fine sandy loam.

Spring well with plumbing to two frost-free hydrants. The spring has dried after drought summers, but recharges quickly when it rains. There is a pond on the property too.

We don't need a payment, only happy to see it being used, as long as the operation is tidy. The land is conserved with the Vermont Land Trust who also monitors its stewardship.
