Please describe your past and/or present farming experience

Since moving to Vermont 5 years ago, I have worked 3 seasons on a wholesale vegetable farm in Johnson as a field hand and as a greenhouse and market garden maintainer. I seasonally worked in sugaring until transferring to year-round sugaring work about 3 years ago where I became an assistant manager. I have missed working with vegetables as much in the summertime ever since. I have also worked with friends to raise and slaughter pigs and poultry, and I have maintained my own vegetable gardens. I have helped out on small dairy goat farms before too. I began planting a diverse orchard a few years ago before a relationship ended, and I had to abandon it. I am interested in having a diverse farm some day.
