Farmer Profile for natania nunubiznez

Co-Applicant / Spouse Name

Ana - Daughter

Please describe your past and/or present farming experience

We are a mother-daughter team with years of experience varying from wild harvesting, to herbalism, to urban farming, to raising goats and chickens. Most recently we had a short term French Market garden, with many opportunities to explore preserving a large harvest of various vegetables, as well as growing unusual herbs and vegetables to use in creative recipes and home made skin and body care. When raising my daughter in Maine, we owned a small farm with horses, goats, chickens, and ducks. The clay soil offered a unique set of challenges in growing our own food and herbs, but we never shy away from a challenge. We are now looking for a long term lease, or a rent/lease-to-own option in order to put our skills and experiences into practice.

We are looking to settle on a piece of land and continue our exploration into sustainable farming and living. Our ideal situation is a farmhouse with a barn, although land with just a barn that can be converted into a living space is another viable option.
