Please describe your past and/or present farming experience

The last 5 yrs I have been raising different animals on my properties as a learning experience to produce "Integrity", pastured, antibiotic free, "healthy" meats. I have had two heifers successfully bred by my own bull. Bred hair sheep. Heritage Turkeys and a flock of Hens for eggs. Most recently raised 5 mixed heritage breed pigs from 8 weeks to 8 mos.. The hogs were raised in NY Hudson Valley area (forested and fed non-gmo feed), and I am extremely happy with the results.

Looking to raise approx. 3-10 grass fed beef cattle, pastured year round on a rotational grazing schedule of being moved frequently to fresh pasture by using electric fencing. Would require perimeter fencing. Hair sheep may be pastured with the cattle. Hogs would be kept on edge of pasture in a forested area. Hogs can be moved approx. 1-2 weeks to a new paddock with electric fence. Would need good water source, reasonably good fencing, someone to assist part-time moving and watering livestock. Very flexible with the plan. Just want to provide my family, friends and others with high quality meats while sustaining the farm by improving soils and pasture quality.
